She sought to improve education in the Underground in hopes that a more balanced view of humans would encourage less hostility. While accurate human history was pushed in schools, so to were other fields of studies, from the arts to the sciences. This ushered in an educational renaissance, and even to this day, education remains a public institution for all.

Believed that every human who fell should be judged by their individual merits. Sadly, many monsters still resisted her peaceful ideals, adding more stress to her and the royal guard.

Other complications led to the deaths of several of the humans. Some by her own hand.

By the time Undyne had revealed the tapes, she’d grown weary. The knowledge that one of her own children may have planned their own death, urged Asriel to leave to the surface, and claim more lives, was a severe blow to her spirits. She couldn’t take it.

In the end, she withdrew to the castle and has not been seen in three years. Only Sans, Alphys, and Papyrus have spoken to her recently.
